I am torn between my love for music and my love for my family and friends back home. I’m not sure what to do though because my bandmate, who I have a wonderful chemistry with on stage, lives here overseas and everyone I’ve known since childhood is back in the States. I know I will give it till the end of this year and then decide if I should move back home. It is a hard decision because I don’t want to be back home doing nothing but hanging out with friends and family. My A/C job is here, where I work for the local corporation doing hybrid A/C sales and service, and my band is stationed here too. But maybe it is possible to have the best of both worlds somehow, I just need to figure out the right way to make both work. My mom is a retired cooling tech and she is 75 years old now, and I would prefer to see her as well as my stepdad while we all stand around the fireplace and talk about life. I know it is possible to have what you want in this world, I just need to figure out a way to make it all work. The local repair provider where I work here has been certainly nice to me, giving me all kinds of commercial air conditioning systems to work on as well as space heating systems to sell. But I am close to my mom and step dad as well as certainly miss our twice a month meals at their home. I know it all works out somehow doesn’t it.
