I’m looking at my buddha sign in front of me on the wall, telling me to not dwell in the past or dream of the future, however to concentrate the mind on the present moment.
It is not an easy thing to do but I am trying to work on it each afternoon with a meditation session. I dream of a better future though, one which has me in love again with someone I certainly want to be with and living in a place where I am happy to be living. Running an A/C business back home is what I used to do, even though I grew tired of air duct sealing jobs and installing UV air purifiers in homes and offices, so I left it all behind and moved overseas where I am living now. I certainly miss my family and friends though and I dream about what it would be like to be back home around the people I love most. I work here overseas selling washable filters as well as doing air conditioning system repair while playing in a band, which is the reason I moved over here in the first place. I hope to get the band going to the point where we are traveling around as well as doing shows for cash, which to me is certainly a fun life. I just want to see my mom before she gets too old, and being here overseas makes that a strenuous thing to do. I know I could go back and work for the local corporation back home but then my dreams would be gone.
