Adding the HEPA filter was a genius idea

Grandma lives in an amazing part of the state. When she was young and newly married, grandpa inherited this property from his dad, and they decided to settle in the area. At this time, folks were starting to focus on organic farming, so they took this opportunity to set themselves up as an organic farm. They grew organic food crops, and raised their animals ethically. Then, they’d sell their produce at the local farmers markets. Well, this has been the business model for the farm to date, and even with my grandpa gone, grandma keeps things going. She has a staff of 3 people who have been with the farm for a decade. I also head there whenever possible, especially during harvest time to help grandma. The last time I was there, I noticed she was having issues with her breathing in the house. Grandma rarely falls ill and is built like an ox, so when I saw her feeling under the weather, I knew something was off. At the hospital the doctor advised us to check out the indoor air quality at the farm house. He mentioned we had to make sure the air filter wasn’t clogged, and also do HVAC maintenance. Grandma admitted it had been sometime since the last time she had an HVAC professional take a look at the HVAC system at the house. So, the first thing I did was contact the local HVAC company. I booked with them and they sent an HVAC professional to the house early the next morning. The guy explained we had to replace the air filter and a few parts. His suggestion was we go with a HEPA filter which was much better and would improve the indoor air quality immensely.
