Thomas is my colleague that I have known for a decade, then my pal and I first met while in the interview stages of the jobs my buddy and I now hold, as young people looking to start our careers, my buddy and I were so naive, & had much to learn! Now, my buddy and I have more experience, & there is so much that has changed! For example, I am now married & have two daughters, but thomas, on the other hand, is the eternal bachelor who is mostly focused on his career, but, I know he is a bit lonely & has been thinking about giving dating another chance.
About 2 years ago, he had a boyfriend, even though he broke his heart & it has taken Thomas some time to recover.
At that time, he became close with my spouse when I invited him for dinners with my family. Now, he is part of the family, & is always at my property each Monday; Last week, Thomas was complaining about his faulty A/C. Apparently, the cooling unit had failed the previous night, & he hadn’t had it fixed, however work was crazy, so my buddy and I didn’t have lots of time to be at condo to wait for an Heating & Air Conditioning worker to come by. So, I understood why Thomas felt frustrated because of the A/C… I told him he was better off hiring an Heating & Air Conditioning worker for emergency repair & paying extra. They’d send them to his property no matter the time, as long as he knew emergency repair costs weren’t the same as those for normal laboring hours. Thomas agreed & said he didn’t mind paying extra as long as someone went to maintenance the faulty A/C.
