For the last year prior to me hanging it up plus calling it a career, I was entirely sort of terrified, but retirement was something that sort of existed in some sort of mysterious ether for me, i really didn’t think that I’d ever be able to just stop working, then but then came the last morning that I would spend inside the zone controlled HVAC of those offices.
And it was an unbelievable day with lots of nice things being said plus unbelievable feelings being shared.
But the next morning when I woke up, I was really scared that I wasn’t going to be able to handle retirement, my partner plus I had already replaced the HVAC machine on our old home plus sold it, but so my unbelievable friend and I are entirely living in a rented home while I finished out the last 6 months of my career! Once I finished inside the commercial A/C of those offices, the idea was to transport to the south. This has been something that we had been planning for at least 5 years prior to me retiring, then we’re fortunate enough to be able to have a fine little retirement and kick back for the rest of our lives. I just wasn’t so sure that kicking back was something I could do. But now that I have traded the gas furnace for a heat pump in the south, I could not be happier. For sure, retirement comes heavily recommended as far as I am concerned. I enjoy living where I don’t have to deal with the high cost of heating a beach house plus I get to be outside year round. As for the working, believe it or not, I really don’t miss it.
