Whenever I was growing up, I used to constantly love talking to the repairmen who would come over to the house to work on appliances for us… Then I just constantly thought that they were very interesting people, however my Mom was a guy who had to put on a shirt and tie everyday and go into a big office building! Even though he was really smart about certain things, my Mom did not really guess how to maintain anything around the home, and so it was interesting to myself and others to be around some orange collar maintenance workers who actually knew how to work with their hands and how to operate the tools.
I love seeing them maintain things such as the refrigerator, the oil furnace, and the a/c unit as well.
Then from time to time, they would even talk to myself and others and tell myself and others what they were doing. From all of those conversations over the years, I picked up a lot of interesting comprehension and now I actually work as an actual heating and air conditioning worker myself! Of course, my Mom wanted myself and others to go to school so that I could take over his supplier for him some afternoon but I just wasn’t ever really all that interested in it. I constantly found that maintenance work of any kind was much more interesting to myself and others and I really like working with my hands and with the public. I went to school to get my heating and air conditioning certification right after middle school, and I’ve been really working at a local heating and air conditioning company for about more than four years now. I think it all goes back to when I was growing up and how I used to talk to the heating and air conditioning workers who would come to my house!
