I knew I had been a mom for too long when I pulled a crayon out of my wallet plus told the home center to mark the box so I knew which was mine; and I also had ordered a new section furnace for my mom’s room, for Christmas, then she had cactuses all over her room, plus they needed more heat plus less humidity than I cared to use in my house.
I had another small house, plus I didn’t need Zone Control until my mom moved in.
I kept the cabin thermostat set at seventy, despite the fact that she wanted it to be eighty in her room. She said she needed to keep it warmer plus drier for her babies. I thought the best way to handle the situation was if I bought her a good section furnace for her room. I bought the section furnace for Christmas, but I observed she had been looking for one. I didn’t want to supply the section furnace to her too early, but I didn’t want her buying one either! But my dear hubby told me to supply her a hint, plus hope she stayed offline, but I didn’t understand how to do this. Since mom was usually shopping online at night, my hubby turned off the internet right after supper. It seemed like a nasty thing to do, however it kept her from purchasing a section furnace for herself before Christmas. And then two afternoons before Christmas, a sizable box arrived for my mom. She told me that since our internet wasn’t working well; she had called my sibling and told her to order a new section furnace for her. I could have kicked myself for not telling my sibling I had already bought the section heater.
