There are several great benefits to having an indoor air cleaning machine. Some air cleaning machines with HEPA technology can effectively remove 99% of all airborne matter. That means almost everything is filtered out of the air and that includes harmful pathogens and pollutants. These air cleaning machines can effectively remove pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold, mildew, bacteria, and even viruses such as covid-19. My biggest indoor allergen comes from the dog. I am very much allergic to the dog, but my boyfriend has had the dog since he was 6 years old. The dog is going to pass away in a year or two and then we won’t get any more pets. Until then, I have an indoor air cleaning machine to help eliminate all of the pet dander and hair. The dog does not shed a lot thankfully, but they definitely get little bits of hair and dog dander in the air every time they scratch or shake their bodies. When the machine is running, the air cleaning machine is actively cleaning all of the air that filters through that HVAC unit. Of course, the indoor air cleaning machine only works when the air conditioner is on, but that is the way that this particular system is set up. I could have purchased a much more expensive air filtration system that would run 24 hours a day, but it’s not necessary with only one dog in the house.
