I don’t believe I want to put in air duct

When my Grandma passed away she bequeathed the seasoned family lodge to me.

This was a big deal, because the lodge was amazing, as well as it sat on several hundred acres worth of wild forest land. This area was lush as well as thick of wildlife, perfect for any hunter or fishing fanatic. I remember going to the lodge while I was in the summers when I was kid, as well as how much fun it was exploring the woods of the foothills. I also remember how incredibly hot it got in the venue, because it was so seasoned it had no air conditioning in it. The concern was that the lodge was so expansive that it would take an industrial sized Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C proposal to manage the whole venue. I went to the lodge with an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C expert to do a walkthrough as well as a cursory inspection. The guy wasn’t there to labor on the oil furnace, just to evaluate the state of the house as well as what it would take to get it air conditioned. The final report was disheartening, to say the least. Since the lodge was not built with central A/C in mind there was no existing air duct. The gas furnace was in the basement, fastened to the baseboards with a series of heat registers, which would not be useful for an air conditioning system system. It would be possible to install small air ducts on the ceiling of the house, however this would be obtrusive as well as ugly. Instead, the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C expert recommended I buy a small, ductless air conditioning system, which wouldn’t be enough to cool down the whole house, however would be better than nothing at all.
