For the last ten days or so of the move, I wasn’t sure that we were going to actually get it all done.
Having 60 days after we closed on this house seems like a long time to get moved.
Prior to selling the house we had found a nice rental condo with great residential HVAC. And with all the upgrades like HVAC equipment that had been done to the house, all we had to do was packing up to move. Well that was certainly much easier in our minds than it was in reality. It wasn’t as easy as just throwing stuff in boxes. For one, we were moving into a nice size condo but it was just a two bedroom place. We were going from a five bedroom house and 30 years worth of collecting stuff. But one thing that I did enjoy was the new HVAC equipment. Before we even listed the house, our realtor suggested we upgrade are residential HVAC. I listened to what she said but I still wanted to check into the value of upgrading the HVAC on a home sale. So I did my own research. True enough, the best in HVAC technology when it came to residential HVAC was a prime motivator for buyers. Once I saw that I felt better about what sort of cost this was going to take. We sure got our value back though once we sold the house for as much as we did. I also have to say that was really nice to have that new HVAC equipment providing the most excellent air conditioning while we moved. It was very close but we got to the finish line end made it out by our deadline.
