If there is one thing that I absolutely hate, it’s when people try to copy me! I think that it is absolutely so annoying.
This all goes back to when I was a kid and my little sister used to try to copy me all the time! She would copy our clothes, the books and films that I liked, and even my hair styles! I used to consistently complain about it to our parents but they would consistently just tell me that imitation is the greatest and most sincere form of flattery, and I did not ever see it that way, though.
I just thought that it was a pain and I still feel that way this week. I want to be unique and I don’t want anyone out there trying to copy my style or way of thinking. I guess that’s what has bothered me so much about living here in this town with our neighbors, and when we bought this house a couple of years ago, the first thing I observed is that the neighbors started decorating outside of their house just like we did. Then they started putting in the same kind of landscaping that we had. It was super annoying. Now, we have just had our HVAC system redone and we got a new smart temperature control and a whole home air purification system. I just found out that the neighbors called up the HVAC company that we used and asked them what we had done to the house. Now, they have ordered the exact same thing and they are going to be putting in the same HVAC system, the same smart temperature control, and the same air purification system in their house!
