It took me a long time to decide that I was ready to purchase a new A/C system. My old one was over a decade old and no matter how often I had it inspected or replaced the air filter, it never cooled my home efficiently, every month, I’d hold our breath in anticipation of what my utility bill would be, and although I knew our A/C system wasn’t running efficiently, I also knew that it still worked. My air vents had cool air running through them and the thermostat appeared to be communicating with the A/C equipment just fine! I ran that air conditioner as long as I could, and when a holiday weekend rolled around though, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a new A/C unit. A holiday sale was always one of the best times to purchase a giant appliance, so I was thrilled to act on this major savings event, then they were offering 30% off all major air conditioning equipment brands and free upgrade, which I thought was a steal! Not only was a new cooling system costly, but the upgrade wasn’t cheap either. I obviously didn’t know how to unlink or install Heating and Air Conditioning equipment, so I needed a Heating and Air Conditioning professional’s help with the process. It was a couple hundred dollars that I had to spend no matter what. The holiday sale was the perfect time for me to purchase our new A/C equipment and have it installed! I’m thrilled I waited as long as I could to purchase a new A/C unit. I was able to save a lot of money.
