I just hope that we offer an environment that helps people feel safe and well
I work in a pilates studio and we pay special attention to the a/c system. The a/c is a bit unusual because more than one different companies have worked on it. One corporation installed the a/c in the back, while another did the a/c in the front, and that one has a few small troubles, and we try to work around it! However, we also have many different whole-home air purifiers throughout the studio to help cleanse the air. Pilates is an exercise that increases the mind-body connection and requires a lot of breathwork, and deep breathing requires clean air. we also see a lot of older customers whose health may be immunocompromised, so having those whole-home air purifiers around the studio is genuinely important to them and a nice touch for potential shoppers to see, however I respectfully update the air filters in the purifiers every few weeks, and I update the coverings for them about once a week when they begin to get dusty. Ever since the pandemic, respiratory care has been important for we, so we are doing the best we can to ensure the health and safety for all of our shoppers. Even with all we are doing, we know that some people will still get sick. That’s something we simply cannot help prevent. I just hope that we offer an environment that helps people feel safe and well. It’s important to have a safe area that is not only physically healthy, but an area where you can genuinely connect with others and have that social interaction we all desperately need.
