The storm didn’t injure the window AC unit

Last weekend I finally had time at condo alone to rest plus reclaim from a crazy month.

My plans were to run some errands in the morning plus then stay indoors until Monday morning. This was the best way for me to sleep plus watch some shows I had been intending to catch up on. Part of the errands that I had to run were in another town so I left early Sunday morning. My hope was to be back before the storm hit. There had been warnings all month that a storm was due that weekend. I drove to the town plus went into an office building to get some documents. But, when I got back to my car, it wouldn’t start. This was odd so I tried to find a mechanic in the section to help me out. He came plus helped me bring the car to his shop where he diagnosed it for many hours. By the time he was finished, there was no point driving condo because of the storm so I found a place to spend the night. My only worry with the storm was the fact that I left my AC component running. Summer was tepid plus humid so the AC component was always toiling to keep my condo comfortable. However, the rule was to turn off the AC component during a storm to protect it. I tried turning off the component remotely, but my smart thermostat app wasn’t toiling. My hope was everything would be okay the next day when I got home. The first thing I did when I pulled up at my condo was inspect the component plus noted that it was toiling.
