The other day when I took my son to the doctor for his check up, the heating system was broken in the doctor’s office!I think that they probably should have called us and just cancelled the appointment that day, because the office was completely freezing cold.
- I don’t know why in the world they thought that it was OK to have sick patients coming in when the furnace was completely broken.
It was really weird, because they were seeing patients just like usual, but everyone was super cold. I just kept thinking the whole time while we were sitting there waiting for her appointment that I felt sorry for the people who were sick. They had to be freezing, since the temperature in the lobby in the waiting area was probably only in the 50s. I know that my son and I were really cold, and we weren’t even sick at all. The weather outside that day was really cold, and it was even snowing. I guess I should have known that something was up when we pulled into the parking lot that morning and there was a big HVAC company truck parked out front. Sure enough, the receptionist told us that she apologized that it was so cold in the office but that they were having trouble with the furnace system. At least they were working on getting it fixed. The commercial HVAC company seemed to know what they were doing. The HVAC guys I saw looked really serious about the job they were doing there that day.
