It’s that time of year where we are all now starting to tune into the holidays. I think this holiday will be better than last year. That should be pretty easy given that we aren’t trapped inside the HVAC comfort and safety of our home. We couldn’t go anywhere last year as my wife has a health condition that put her at much higher risk of serious Covid complications. So this year, it looks like we will once again have people to the house for the holidays now that everyone is vaccinated. I love that fact but I also sort of get a bit burnt out on all the shopping, cooking and hosting we do during the holidays. However, I do have a wonderful sanctuary where I can enjoy plenty of HVAC heating while still enjoying the feel of being outside. Our sunroom is just the best. My wife had it put on several years ago and it was one of the best decisions she ever made. I wasn’t all that wild about it. For me, if I wanted to enjoy the sun and being outside, I got out of the air conditioning and did that. But with the sunroom, we now can enjoy to beauty of outside while still getting the residential HVAC that we know and love. It’s really a win win for us. When we first got the sunroom, there wasn’t any sort of HVAC in it. We tried a space heater but you pretty much had to be right in front of it to get any heating. So adding the ductless heat pump was a master stroke. And, it’s just outstanding to take some time during the hustle and bustle of the holidays to relax and watch the world go by from our sunroom.
