I want to put a heating system out in the barn but my husband doesn’t want me to.
Personally, I think that he is being completely ridiculous about it.
Also, I think that he is making it fairly evident that I care more about our animals than he does. Of course, I have always known that but he would never admit it. We live in an area of the country where the winter times get really cold. The temperatures start cooling off sometime around the second week of November, and then it stays pretty darn cold here until the end of March. Let’s just say that we do not have a very warm climate most of the time. Ever have a central air conditioning bill, if that tells you anything about the weather here. We also have a lot of animals here on our ranch, Including several horses which are like my very own babies. I have raised a couple of them since they were foals, and I do not like the idea of them being out in the winter cold every night. I personally don’t see why it would be such a great big deal to have the local commercial HVAC technician come out and put a little heating unit in our barn. Whenever I mention it to my husband, though, he always flips out a little and accuses me of spending too much money all the time on our horses. And honestly, he might actually be right about some of that but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t put a heating system out there in the barn for our horses.
