Just the other day my wife and I were sitting on our couch watching some TV.
We had both had a long and busy day from work and were looking forward to just sitting down and enjoying the evening together.
Everything was going well and we were watching one of our favorite shows. We could feel the cool air from the air vent above us coming down and cooling our bodies, it was a perfect and relaxing feeling. However, it wouldn’t last. It was like the nice and cold air was there one minute and gone the next. As the a/c suddenly went off and we felt the cold air leaving as the heat in our house quickly began to rise. We switched to the weather channel and saw the forecast showing how hot the temperatures were outside. It was 92 degrees out and that is when we both realized we had completely forgotten all about having our air conditioning unit maintained by the cooling specialists. We double checked the thermostat and tried to turn on the a/c but it wouldn’t respond. My wife got on the phone and started talking to the nearest HVAC contractor. Thankfully it didn’t take long for us to get a repairman out here and he explained to us that because our central a/c unit was old, it simply couldn’t keep up with the heats. He quickly and professionally repaired the broken air conditioner and by later that day we had cool and crisp air flowing through our house once again.
