The heat pump blower was not working because the capacitor was burned out

Susan was so happy to live in her home finally.

All her childhood dreams of having a space of her own had come true. Susan began a business in high school and grew it after graduation instead of going to college. All her efforts had paid off when she later sold the business for a lot of money. Instead of taking a mortgage for her home, she had enough money to pay for the property in full. She set up a heat pump to keep the space warm since she lived in the frigid north. One morning, Susan was getting ready to leave her home when she noticed it was chilly. She had left the heat pump on, but it seemed it had shut off sometime during the night. Susan did not know anything about heat pump repairs, so she had to find a professional. She called up an HVAC repair company in the area that was reputed as the best when it came to repairs. About half an hour later, a heat pump mechanic was knocking on her front door. He went ahead and began inspecting the issue with the heat pump. Susan was patient and even postponed her meeting to ensure the heat pump expert had ample time to work. The heat pump mechanic noticed there was an issue with the blower because of a burnt capacitor. That was why the heat pump had stopped working. The mechanic had to replace the burnt capacitor and also made several other repairs. Only then did the heat pump resume working, much to Susan’s delight. The heat pump expert gave Susan a bill for the work and left for another appointment. Susan told him she had his contacts and would be in touch if there was ever another issue with the AC system.
