I live in an older building in a historic town, however i really appreciate residing there because it’s close to lots of parks plus small shopping areas, then living in a walkable section legitimately makes a difference in your quality of life.

It’s in our lease that the two of us are responsible for replacing the air filter every multiple months to make sure the two of us are stopping multiple pollutants from reaching the direct air the two of us breathe! We stay on top of replacing those filters, but my allergies have been so poor that I started to suppose that there was something else the two of us should be doing. I asked my landlord when was the last time the air ducts had been cleaned because I noticed a lot of dust on the outside of the vent, air ducts should be cleaned properly because dust, pollen, dead skin, hair, small creatures, plus multiple other tiny gross things can collect inside of them plus be pushed out through the vent! Even with a clear air filter, it can be strenuous for the filter to clean all of the air if there is a dense amount of pollution in the ducts. I’m so ecstatic that I reached out to our landlord to get that taken care of because my sinuses suppose so much better than they did before.
