The HVAC technicians next door came over to repair the air conditioner

The company I worked for, which was a contact center for a mobile lending app, was next to the most popular and highly reputable cooling and heating business.

The irony of this situation is that when our commercial air conditioner system broke down, I had to stay away from the office for an entire three days waiting for the air conditioning reps that are literally situated next door.

This was no fault of the air conditioning business. This was peak season, it was Springtime, when all homeowners were rushing to have their heating and cooling unit go through the Heating and A/C service plan to get them ready for summer, and all the cooling experts had been booked and the two of us could only get one available after three days. On day three, the workers from the home comfort business next door came to our buildin to examine the hybrid Heating and A/C unit at the office. They found that the issue was a broken pipe that is leaking oil used by the quality a/c. The heat exchanger was also full of rust and needed to be replaced and new batteries for the programmable temperature control. The quality Heating and A/C component was delivered and the workers were able to replace the components and they also tested the unit. They advocated the management at our corporation consider embedding the smart Heating and A/C to the main equipment for extra efficiency. Even though it took a long time to repair the unit, the workers were really efficient and managed to finish the work within 4 hours! Faster than they worked on my ductless mini split equipment at home. We were back to work on the ninth day and we, thankfully did not have to recover a lot as the two of us had been already working from home.
