I became fairly popular, and so did my maid service
When I was a teenager, I was always envious of the kids who had rich parents, and would give their money to their kids like free candy. I did not come from rich money, so I was often broke. As the years passed, my desperation for earning money grew, and as soon as I turned 16 and was able to get a job, I started looking around. I realized as I looked around at job listings, that there were a lot of maids wanted from individual people. I usually say I’m okay at cleaning, but if I am being paid to clean, I won’t stop until their house shines. I decided to contact the people, and clean their home. In order to do this, I had to borrow money from my parents, to buy some of the best quality cleaning products I could find. I arrived at their home and got started. They wanted most of their home cleaned top to bottom, so after 4 hours, I had their home completely cleaned. The couple arrived home and inspected my work. Thankfully, they liked it and I was paid. From there on until senior year in high school, I served as a maid for hire. I became fairly popular, and so did my maid service. But after 3 years of cleaning, I was done and I quit. By then, I had saved up a large chunk of money, which will hopefully be going towards my future college and that will help me be successful in life. I’m glad I served as a maid during those years, because while being a maid isn’t exactly looked upon highly, it made me feel good after all that hard work, getting that well earned money.
