The last symposium I attended was in junior high when I attended with the science club to discuss what we can do to help conserve the earth.
Now as an adult, I was attending a symposium for the cooling and heating companies, then the air conditioner contractors were going to discuss what they can do to give heat or quality cooling system services to the country’s population while conserving the environment.
Currently, the heating and cooling equipment is releasing gases that would be harmful to the environment. A couple of us a/c reps were to attend with one of our supervisors. The home comfort business that we worked for, was dealing in quality HVAC equipment such as the hybrid HVAC plan that would at times leaked harmful gases into the surrounding areas. The use of ductless mini split units was also hurting the environment as these systems were sucking the warm air from the homes and business buildings and depositing it into the atmosphere. These would destabilize the weather contributing to global warming. Numerous contractors presented their points as we discussed the pros and cons of the new systems in the market such as the smart HVAC unit and their contribution to the environment, but one thing we all agreed on was sticking to the HVAC service plan for all units including the commercial air conditioner plan and the programmable thermostats would help in winning this war, then it was a successful session and every one of us did make headway as cooling experts on conserving our environment using these systems. I learned a lot from my counterparts as I am sure they also learned a lot from me, and we scheduled another meeting 12 months later to follow up on the goals that we had set.
