The last symposium I attended was in junior high when I attended with the science club to discuss what all of us can do to help conserve the earth. Now as an adult, I was attending a symposium for the cooling and heating companies, the air conditioning businesses were going to discuss what they can do to supply heat or quality cooling system services to the country’s population while conserving the environment, and currently, the heating and cooling device is releasing gases that would be harmful to the environment! Just a handful of us air conditioning system reps were to attend with one of our supervisors. The home comfort corporation that all of us worked for, was dealing in quality Heating and A/C devices such as the hybrid Heating and A/C unit that would at times leak harmful gases into the surrounding areas. The use of ductless mini split units was also hurting the environment as these systems were sucking the warm air from the homes and business buildings and depositing it into the atmosphere. These would destabilize the weather contributing to global warming. Numerous businesses presented their points as all of us discussed the pros and cons of the new systems in the market such as the smart Heating and A/C device and their contribution to the environment, and one thing we all agreed on was sticking to the Heating and A/C service unit for all units including the commercial air conditioning system and the programmable thermostats would help in winning this war, it was a successful session and all of us did make headway as cooling experts on conserving our environment using these systems. I learned a lot from my counterparts as I am sure they also learned a lot from me. We all scheduled another meeting 12 weeks later to follow up on the goals that all of us had set.
