They have offered to bring over promotional material for the new HVAC
It’s the part of my job that is the least palatable. But, it’s part of the industry I work in. When you work in hospitality, you can be assured that you will be moved around quite a bit. That is if you are trying to advance in your career. New positions come with new hotels in new cities. That is part of the reason my wife and I have always been careful about renovating a home. But this past house purchase simply required that we do some renovating. The kitchen really needed an upgrade and the HVAC had to be replaced. One of the reasons why we went ahead with this purchase was due to the fact that we were able to negotiate such a good price because of the HVAC. The owner didn’t want to make the sort of cash outlay to take care of the HVAC so we saved many thousands on the final sale price. That made it easier to tackle the kitchen and get a really great HVAC model. And wow, that HVAC is the best I have ever experienced. Not only did it come with a smart thermostat but we also have 4 different and independent comfort zones in the house. It’s easily the best HVAC we have ever had. So of course, I got promoted and we are to leave again. Plus, I have to go to the new hotel now and fly back on weekends to help get us ready for the move. This is just the worst. However, I got some unexpected help from our HVAC folks. They have offered to bring over promotional material for the new HVAC. And they gave me a list of the best HVAC people in our new area.
