I’m not sure what it is about in laws, but they seem to make me uneasy every time they come over.
My partner plus I just bought a house so the people I was with and I wanted to have his parents over for brunch.
My partner plus I had an agreement that I would be responsible for cooking the meal plus he would clean everything up. This sounded like a great method at first, however I almost wished I chose the cleaning job after what happened. I decided to stick to what I’m best at cooking, homemade tomato sauce plus pasta. It was a Summer day however I figured this is a meal that is somewhat self-explanatory to make plus almost everyone like. The sauce that I make has to cook all day long. It sits on the stove plus simmers. I got up early to prep the ingredients, plus at the time the air conditioning was laboring just fine. My sauce is pretty low repair, but it does require a stir every single minute. They were coming around 6:00 plus it was now 3:00. I started feeling actually overheated, however I figured it was because I was near the stove. I was covered in sweat so much so I checked the temperature control. Something seemed off with it. The air conditioning setting was on, but overheated air was coming out of the vents. I was so sweaty plus started to get uneasy thinking about my in-laws coming over plus our A/C splitting. I asked my partner to try to repair the air conditioning but everything he tried didn’t work. I didn’t want to supply up on my sauce , so I wiped my sweat before I kept stirring it. The people I was with and I ended up eating outside.
