The air conditioning in our car is working once again. I am so thankful that my husband was able to fix the air conditioning in our main vehicle. We went without air conditioning in our family car for over two weeks, and it was absolutely miserable. My husband has a work truck and we were able to take that when possible, but our whole family does not fit in his work truck, so it simply wasn’t practical to use his work truck very often. I love that my husband is a handyman. He can fix just about anything and everything. He does not do a ton of mechanical work, but he was able to replace the air conditioning line that had a leak. It was a bit more of a difficult job than what he expected it to be at the beginning. He actually started trying to fix the air conditioning the day that it stopped working, but it turned into a two week long project. The weather was really warm during those two weeks, so not having air conditioning was no fun at all. He was able to get a new air conditioning line from a junkyard. We paid almost nothing for it. The hardest part was trying to find time to work on the air conditioning. He works a full time job, and he has been getting quite a bit of overtime lately. I am so glad that he was finally able to fix that air conditioning. It is nice and cool in our family car once again.
