Working on the ranch

Growing up in the south we do things a lot differently than you northern folks or even eastern folks out there. Most of us growing up had to work on ranches. Yes that;s right. We worked on the ranch with horses and all kinds of animals and home grown food. There was a lot to do to make sure things were running properly. My very first job was working on this ranch that my neighbor owned. And my job was to feed all the horses and to take care of the central heating and air conditioning system that went to the barn where the horses were. Taking care of the central heating and air conditioning system was a pretty big task. It was even more difficult than trying to feed the darn horses! There was a lot of upkeep to be done on the central heating and air conditioning system to ensure that it was performing to the best possible way it could. I had to always change the air filters, check the thermostat in the barn and make sure I called the local heating and air conditioning company bi-monthly to schedule heating and cooling tune ups for the thing. It was tough at first and took a lot of getting used to. But I eventually ended up getting so good at it, that it was like second nature to me. Heating and air conditioning became my life pretty much. So much that I ended up going to school to get my certification to become a heating and air conditioning specialist!
