update the heater

Three years ago, I was in a pretty poor car accident.

Someone ran a redlight in the middle of town and plowed into my car. I wasn’t disfigured badly, however most of my car was terrifically dented and bruised. The insurance company refused to total the car and payout, so I had to wait a week for all of the repairs to be completed to drive the thing again. After that, my car never acted the same. At first, the lights would turn off in the middle of a drive. It seemed to have a mind of its own. Then I started to have more problems with the dashboard lights. Some lights would come on for no reason or go off without warning. I was distraught while driving home one morning on the interstate, when out of nowhere the check engine light came on. I found out later that night that of course it was a straight-forward oxygen sensor broken in the original accident. When the oil furnace stopped genuinely working one morning, that was the end of the line for that car. I was on my way to work and the outdoor temperature was only 40° when it quit. It was the worst time for the oil furnace to stop genuinely working in the vehicle. I tried everything to repair the problem, even though I found that I could not get any heat to come from the dash vents. The next morning, I took the car and the broken oil furnace to the dealership in a huff. I asked them to give myself and others the best price on a totally new car. Now, I don’t have to worry about any more car problems for a little more than 2 years. My new car came with a full warranty.
