I have a little place of my own in what some might call the South. But, believe me, it is not at all the Deep South because the people I was with and I still have some Winter in these parts. It might not be anything compared to up north. But, it particularly gets nippy enough to where the heat needs to be on for the whole course of the day. I love the fact that the people I was with and I get to experience such distinct four seasons. It is so charming to witness. The leaves in the fall are lovely. But, might be outdone by all the blooming trees and flowers during the Spring. The Summer can get rather tepid however then it slides out and right into fall again. I got married to a local person and we made the decision to start a family right here. The up-to-date property the people I was with and I live in is way off in the woods however the people I was with and I are still able to be connected to the electric grid. The group of us have a wood stove which provides excellent heat during the winter months. And all it costs me is the sweat off my brow and a little gas for my chainsaw. My wife and I went several years without any sort of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling equipment. The two of us were easily just fine with fans even though it could be warm sleeping through the evening hours. However, the two of us have children these days. The two of us were able to create comfortable rooms for them upstairs however the two of us particularly needed to cool that floor so those youngsters could sleep well at night. I had an old friend of mine who is a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech in the nearest town come out to supply us with a couple of options. He felt that the only real answer was to put in a mini split heating and cooling component for the second floor of our property. The beauty part is that this type of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component does not need any HVAC duct. So, right there was a sizable motivating reason to have him proceed with the installation.
