Traveling in uncomfortable temperatures

I grew up as the son of a commercial pilot.

My Mom spent 41 years as part of a top airline.

It very is amazing when I believe about it. My father left high college at 15 to join the Marine Corp. He l acquired to be an airplane mechanic while in the service. When he got out he went to work for the airline. It wasn’t long before he advanced to flight college. The rest is an impressive work. However, our Mom’s work is not the point. The point is that as his son, I was able to fly all over the place. It was a time when air travel still had some romance to it. I even would wear a coat & tie to fly on our Mom’s airline. The seats were roomy & the HVAC temp control was consistently very comfortable. This was also back when you could smoke on planes. I don’t miss that. However, I dislike flying now. I believe as though I’m being corralled into a steel tube with all the other lemmings. The seats are horrible. There is not a comfortable seat outside of first class anymore. Then there is the HVAC. It is nearly non existent. I travel for corporation & I purposely wear our workout shirts because I know I’m going to sweat through the entire flight. But, I am sure to bring a hoodie because the hour I deplane, the wall of frigid airport air hits care about a frigid wall. The HVAC disparity from plane to concourse is almost polar. As soon as I retire, I’m not flying anymore. I’m enthusiastic our Mom can’t see what his passion has turned into.
