Living in a small town has more upsides than one may think.
Whenever I have visitors, they always ask myself and others how I’m not just bored out of our mind.
Granted, there is zero evening life as well as actually not a good variety of other businesses. I guess if I was into all that other stuff, it would seem boring to live here. I lived in the town for several years as I was starting our career. But, I particularly never felt love I fit there. It was just so much as well as all the time. Plus, cities can be particularly impersonal places. So, when I moved to a small town, I felt right at home. I feel the names of our neighbors. The names of those I trade with are even right there on the tip of our tongue. I love that. My Heating, Ventilation & A/C company is a good example of this dynamic. When I first got here, I had to replace the Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit. I knew this when I obtained the home so was able to kind of get a steal because the seller didn’t want to replace. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company was awesome as they got myself and others all squared away. They are the only ones I deal with. Their service program has allowed the Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit to be at its best. Then they just went to extra mile. I offhandedly remarked that our Dad was getting the worst Heating, Ventilation & A/C service. It sucked because I felt helpless to assist because both of us live so far apart. Well, the owner of our Heating, Ventilation & A/C company took it upon himself to find a reputable Heating, Ventilation & A/C company in our mom’s area. I couldn’t believe it.
