The new employee doesn't seem actually smart

Thursday the two of us were working on a commercial boiler repair

I hate to say disparaging plus mean things about another employee, however the new guy doesn’t seem actually smart. My boss had me working with the guy the entire month plus I had to do most of the work. The new guy had to be instructed on every single area of the task. It was more toil to have a person by our side, when it should have made our month a whole lot easier; On Tuesday, every one of us were working on a easy air conditioning repair. The two of us had to update a hose. It was a routine task plus the hose was in a location that was easy to reach. Still, the new guy had problems the whole time he was replacing the hose. I had to take over plus finish. On Thursday, the guy was an hour late for work. He had to meet me at an upgrade task in his own vehicle. He took forever to reach the endpoint plus he did not supply much help during the upgrade. He followed all of our instruction, although he did not seem capable on his own. Sunday was relatively easy plus the guy skated by without any problems. Thursday the two of us were working on a commercial boiler repair. The guy burned his arm because he wasn’t being careful. It seemed care about his first morning on the task as a heating, ventilation as well as A/C repair specialist, even though his resume claimed four years of on-the-task experience, then either the guy isn’tactually smart or he lied on his task application about his experience.
