I don’t know why pretty much everyone is so down on experts, then but wow, honestly loud parts of our culture are going after everything plus that includes experts.
I’m not so sure if these folks are just mad because the experts aren’t consistently telling them what they want to hear.
I get that. I didn’t like hearing that I needed to update my Heating & A/C equipment if I wanted to get the most money I could from my home. But me not liking the sound of that truth didn’t make it any less true. I wasn’t mad at the realtor. I wasn’t mad at the new trends toward turnkey heating plus cooling situations. No, while I was disappointed to have to fork out money for the initial cost outlay to upgrade the Heating & A/C equipment, I trusted my real estate professional! And that’s entirely where this hating on expert thing gets exposed for what it is. It’s honestly much like those who are consistently bashing anyone with recognizable expertise are like huge babies. Seriously, if they can’t get what they want, they’re going to make a bunch of noise. And they may still not get what they want. But their going to ruin somebody’s day over it. I know these folks need to lighten up plus let go of all the outrage. Believe me, outrage is highly overrated. I did just what the realtor recommended. But I also met with another expert who helped me get the right amount of new residential Heating & A/C plus Heating & A/C technology separate from spending too much money. I mean, I wasn’t going to use the new Heating & A/C equipment much. And indeed, the real estate expert was right… There was an enormous value added to our house by adding new Heating & A/C equipment. There’s a reason they are called experts.
