Putting modern cooling approach to the test

My associate and I opted to keep the windows plus doors open instead

Well, it’s put up or shut up time now… My associate and I are heading right into the teeth of a hot, steamy, southern Summer. And I’m going to find out if my modern approach to air conditioner my house is going to pan out, but i had to do something though for crying out loud. I could have purchased a boat with the currency that my buddy and I were spending on just cooling the home From May through November; Seriously, my buddy and I were spending ridiculous amount of currency when it came to the utility costs associated with air conditioner, then but then again, my buddy and I had never experienced anything like the Summers down here, however enough is enough though. As retirees, my buddy and I have to keep a close eye on our spending plus keep to our budget. Don’t want to outlast my currency. So this year, it was a whole modern deal when it came to the demand my buddy and I put on the heat pump. I talked with my local friends who have far more experience than I do when it comes to reining in the air conditioner costs. And while there were a number of interesting strategies shared, there was also a common theme, but less is more; That’s what I was hearing. Don’t reach for the control device in May as it warms. And even in May, just turn on the cooling only when you really need it on an unusually sizzling mornings. And then, once the deep heat plus humidity descend, be disciplined with the control device setting plus uses fans all the time. So my buddy and I did the first part as we’ve been super selective with the air conditioner. My associate and I opted to keep the windows plus doors open instead. But my buddy and I are now close to leaving the control device on cooling. So I suppose we’ll see just how much my buddy and I can save.
