My wife and I went to a fancy restaurant for dinner.
- The restaurant had a valet service, so I decided to give them my car.
I didn’t want to look for a parking space that might be two blocks from the restaurant. I knew it would be much easier to have valet bring the car when we were done with the meal. We had a bottle of wine as soon as we got to the restaurant. After that we decided to order some appetizers. We got dinner, desserts, and coffee. We took our time at the fancy restaurant so we could enjoy the atmosphere and everything that was going on around us. We had some of the most amazing food that I have ever had. The chef came out to greet all of the customers and we got to shake his hand. At the end of the night, my stomach was full and I was ready to go home. When the valet parking guy arrived, I gave him a good tip and we got into the car. The valet parking guy had the heat on the maximum setting. I know I didn’t have the heater set at the maximum temp when we got out of the car earlier that evening. It felt like an oven inside of the car. My wife and I turned down the heat immediately. Even when the heat on the lowest setting, and it still felt like it was 100°. We had to roll the windows down for a couple of minutes to get all of that heat out of the car.
