Then, overtime they should save us money
For Christmas this year my husband and I aren’t going to give each other a bunch of gifts. Instead we are going to work together and buy one large thing for the house. I would really like to purchase new windows for the house. I feel it would be nice to actually be able to open the windows and let in a fresh breeze. Our current windows are rusted, fogged over and cracked. They are quite ugly. My husband wants to get ductless HVAC for our sheds. We each have our own shed. He has one that serves as his tool shed and work station. Mine is my home gym. Neither of us have heating and cooling there. I know my husband is worried about his tools rusting overtime due to the humidity in our area. In the summer I would like to workout and have AC. Heating in the wintertime would be nice too. The cost of a ductless HVAC unit with two indoor air handlers and thermostats is quite expensive. You need to buy the actual system, hire a HVAC dealer and pay for the installation cost. Then there is the cost of electricity and operating it to think of. My windows are a one time payment and installation cost. Then, overtime they should save us money. Think about it, the old windows are probably leaky and letting in outdoor air. With new windows our home HVAC unit is probably more energy efficient. That is why I want to do mine instead of my husband’s idea.
