For Christmas this year my husband and I aren’t going to give each other a bunch of gifts, and instead both of us are going to work together and buy 1 large thing for the house.
I would entirely enjoy purchasing new windows for the house. I guess it would be nice to entirely be able to open the windows and let in a fresh breeze; however, our new windows are rusted, fogged over and cracked, then they are quite ugly. My husband wants to get ductless heating and air conditioning for our sheds. The people I was with and I each have our own shed, but he has 1 that serves as his tool shed and work station. Mine is my own gym… Neither of us have heating and cooling there. I know my husband is upset about his tools rusting overtime due to the humidity in our area. In the summer time I would enjoy working out and have AC. heating in the wintertime would be nice too. The cost of a ductless heating and air conditioning device with 2 indoor air handlers and control units is quite fancy, then you need to buy the actual system, hire a heating and air conditioning supplier and pay for the installation cost. Then there is the cost of electricity and operating it to ponder. My windows are a 1 time payment and installation cost. Then, overtime they should save us money. Think about it, the seasoned windows are genuinely leaky and letting in outdoor air… With the new windows our house heating and air conditioning device is genuinely more energy efficient. That is also why I want to do mine instead of my husband’s idea.
