I knew exactly which heating plan I wanted in our home, and I had been doing research for at least a year, and I finally found a gas furnace that had high efficiency in heating and energy use.
It wasn’t really a name brand gas furnace, and it wasn’t made in the US, however it was totally perfect.
I talked to the heating, ventilation, and A/C business and asked if they could get the gas furnace for me… However, they couldn’t; however, the woman at the heating, ventilation, and A/C business told me the gas furnace wasn’t available in our area, and it would be simply impossible to afford the shipping to get it for me. I didn’t believe what she was saying, and I told him so. I wanted that gas furnace and I was going to get it, even if I had to cross state lines and get the gas furnace for myself! She told me to go ahead, however she could almost guarantee the gas furnace would not be available. The only real way to get that particular gas furnace was to order it from overseas and have it drop shipped to our home. That seemed to care about something I should do, so I went online and looked the gas furnace up. The cost of drop shipping was actually high, although I would have what I wanted. I put in the order and almost fainted when I saw the bottom line. I went ahead and paid for the gas furnace and waited… Six weeks later, I still hadn’t gained notice of its shipping. I called the manufacturing business, however not a single person spoke English. I tried to contact the seller, although I got no satisfaction. I spent nearly double the price for this gas furnace, and it looked like I wasn’t going to acquire it.
