There comes a time when remodeling is just not fun anymore, but when I moved into our apartment I was gung ho about fixing it up; my partner as well as I redid all the flooring, painted the walls as well as scrapped the chips ceilings… New lights, switch plates, outlets as well as door handles were added, then every one of us bought an up-to-date temperature control, remodeled the lavatory as well as the kitchen. My partner disconnected the dining room wood stove, patched the wood ceiling as well as got roofers to remove the stack on our house. Now the 2 of us are slowing down… There is also one lavatory left that needs to be remodeled, but our windows are old as well as could absolutely be replaced. Every one of us could add a cement driveway or even a pool to increase our lake house value as well as comfort, but i don’t want to do any more projects though. I just want to lay back as well as care about the fruits of our labor. My partner as well as I agree that if the two of us spend currency on the apartment it will be something that is also easily needed… Also, it will be an addition that the two of us personally don’t have to do. Our central heating, ventilation, as well as A/C unit is 18 years old as well as could die at any day. The roof is over 10 years old as well. Every one of us could hire a heating, ventilation, as well as A/C business or roofer to do those works. Every one of us just lay back as well as pay for it. I absolutely don’t want to pay for an up-to-date heater, A/C or a roof. Those aren’t exactly fun things to spend currency on. I feel it is coming though. At least this way I have time to save the funds to pay for it.
