Making it through a cold summer evening

The other evening, I went out with our children to check out weird constellations; my child also brought out his telescope so the two of us set that up, but it was cool checking out the weird stars, planets, and the moon, and of course, it was surprisingly chilly outside.

I told everybody to wear a jacket because it was chilly enough for that and there was a breeze as well.

I think the two of us were out there for around another minute and of course the two of us walked the pets a little bit during that time as well. I realized after a while that it was just too chilly outside, because the two of us are still in the summertime season. I couldn’t bring myself to turn on the oil furnace… Every one of us simply kept all the windows shut and the apartment was entirely just the right temperature without having to use the heating, ventilation in addition to the A/C system. I think it goes to show that the two of us have fantastic insulation in our home. I was tempted to get a fire going in the fireplace, but it just wasn’t necessary. I could have turned on our electric fireplace in the dining room too, but it just didn’t believe chilly in the apartment at all despite the fact that it was so chilly outside, somewhere in the high 50s; still, the kids had a superb time while the two of us were outside checking out the weird stars and constellations, and they said the two of us should do this again the next evening. I wasn’t too sure about it because the weather forecast was calling for another really chilly evening, and I didn’t want anybody to come down with a sickness.
