I could have turned on our electric fireplace in the study room too, however it just wasn’t cold in the house at all despite the fact that it was so freezing outside, somewhere in the high 50s… Still, the youngsters had an unbelievable time while the two of us were outside checking out the strange stars and constellations, and they said the two of us should do this again the next night
The other night, I went out with our children to check out strange constellations, but my kid also brought out his telescope so the two of us set that up, however it was cool checking out the strange stars, planets, and the moon; of course, it was surprisingly freezing outside. I told everybody to wear a blazer because it was freezing enough for that and there was a breeze as well. I believe the two of us were out there for around an hour and of course the two of us walked the pets a little bit during that time as well. I realized after a while that it was just too freezing outside, because the two of us are still in the Summer season, I couldn’t bring myself to turn on the oil furnace. Both of us simply kept all the windows shut and the house was actually just the right temperature without having to use the heating as well as A/C system. I guess it goes to show that the two of us have nice insulation in our home. I was also tempted to get a fire going in the fireplace, however it just wasn’t necessary.
