When we decided to have our heating plan checked out by a local contractor, we discovered there were too many complications going on with the heating equipment; I know the largest issue was the fact that the heating unit was so old.
I was told that even if the heating unit was completely repaired, it was going to have complications plus might even be cut down while we were in an essential time in the Winter time season.
I did not want to have any complications with the heating unit being cut down, so I looked into up-to-date heating units for my home… The plan that stood out to myself and others the most was the dual fuel oil furnace. This plan includes a central gas oil furnace combined with an electric heat pump to provide heating with ultimate energy efficiency. I was thrilled to learn that the heat pump also provides cooling in the summer time months, which was fantastic news, so I had this up-to-date dual fuel heating plan installed plus it didn’t take long to see how energy efficient the plan is. So far through the Winter time season, the heating has been exceptional. I loved how well the heat pump worked before it got entirely cold. That’s when the gas oil furnace kicked on plus it has been nice plus toasty in our home, with low energy costs! Before, the monthly bills would always be skyrocketing in the chilly season, however now the bills have been especially low plus we sure are thankful for that. I’m thrilled we didn’t decide to try to fix the outdated plan because it would have been a triple whammy with high energy costs, plan breakdowns plus emergency HVAC repairs.
