Don’t stress about the HVAC warranty, just follow it

When we had our HVAC equipment replaced, I was a bit too excited. I guess it was sort of the fact that the installation of the new residential HVAC was the culmination of a long process. It started when the HVAC technician told us the HVAC unit wasn’t going to last much longer. I totally trust our HVAC professionals so I got right on it. I met with the HVAC contractor to start understanding our options. I’m so glad I went this route instead of going it alone. The first time I looked up new residential HVAC online, I was stunned by how much information there was out there. So the HVAC contractor was able to cut to what would suit our heating and cooling needs along with fitting our budget. From there, we simply had to save for a bit before getting the new HVAC unit before the summer heat season hit. Right away, I was astounded by how much better the HVAC cooling was in our house. And then, I was stunned by the fact that it cost so much less to operate. Thankfully, my wife was listening during the installation process so she was the one to register the HVAC warranty with the factory. Had it been up to me, I’d have missed the 90 day window and it would have voided. But my wife also read the HVAC warranty and made me promise never to try and tinker with the HVAC equipment. Of course, that would void the HVAC warranty as well.
