My residing room was an add-on room that included the aged patio, our lake house was lovely, although I couldn’t figure out why the past owners wanted a residing room that had more than one walls of windows, but you couldn’t lay in the room because it got direct sunlight nearly all day, but the sunlight heated the room so much that I couldn’t be in there for any length of time! I entirely got a sunburn 1 year, from falling asleep on the floor.
That’s when I knew I either had to have the windows removed, or get some kind of window treatment for the windows! My fiance had been looking in the newspaper and there was an advertisement from a company that did window tint upgrade… She called them and asked to have a consultant come to our home.
The girl showed us strange window tints. She had samples of a decorative window tint. She had strange colors of window tints. There were window tints meant to make it so you could look out, but no 1 could look in. There were window tints that were bright and colorful, but could block the solar effects of the sun. I wanted a easy window tint that would block the solar effects without getting rid of the windows. I knew i could put up blackout curtains or drapes. I enjoyed being able to see outside and still be safe and comfortable when I was in the residing room… Although it was an expensive venture, it was still cheaper than buying twelve pairs of blackout curtains.
