One of the best gifts given to me was my space heater. We don’t live in that cold of an environment, it’s actually pretty mild, so you might be wondering why someone would need a space furnace. Well, the truth is that I get cold incredibly easily, much easier than my family does. And while my family is perfectly content with living in a 72 degree home, I am not, that is just too cool for me. I prefer to have it around 77 degrees, I think that is the perfect temperature. Anyways, I guess my dad was tired of seeing me walking around the house in a jacket and sweatpants, and so he bought me the area furnace. And that was money well spent too, because I don’t think there has been a day that has gone by that I haven’t used the area heater. Even though I constantly need to use the heating system, I don’t mind if it keeps me warm. However, I heard my dad talking about the possibility of getting zoned heating and cooling, so that everyone in the family can control their own thermostat. I think that is a perfect solution, and if I get that, then I probably wouldn’t need the area heating device anymore. However, I would probably still keep it as a back up, just in case.
