The area I lived in used to be a fairly small town with only a few businesses, oftentimes we would have to drive out of town in order to find the store we were looking for, because our small town just didn’t have it.
However, that is quickly changing.
I guess some business owners see some potential in our small town, because it is growing fast. There is a bunch of land that is being bought out and a bunch of new businesses and apartments are being built. I remember when I was driving back from some errands, seeing a new patch of land was cleared, and that they already had the framework of a new building complete. I ended up forgetting about that patch of land though, and I didn’t end up driving that way until 2 or 3 months later. When I did, I didn’t even recognize the area at first. What was originally mostly forest was now an array of colorful buildings. Curious, I parked close by and started to look at some of the new stores and businesses. One was a shopping mall, which would definitely be nice to shop in. Another one was for styling and cutting hair, which I am sure I would use in the near future. However, I was most excited for the last one, which was an air conditioning company. Why was I excited? Because for the longest time our town didn’t have a HVAC business in it. Whenever we needed anything done on our air conditioning device, we needed to either rely on an independent contractor, or find a business that would drive out to us, which was difficult. I am so glad we finally have an actual A/C corporation here now.
