In the past several years there has been so much new material on the heating and air conditioning market. Then suddenly, as of the last year or so there has been nothing new that I was aware of. Is heating and air conditioning technology having some issues advancing even more? Could it possibly be that the entire spectrum of heating and air conditioning technology has reached its peak and can not go any further? Only time will tell I guess. But if the last year or so is any indication, I seriously think that it may be at its end. It would be heartbreaking to think this if it is real. Because they have advanced with so many great pieces of HVAC equipment in the last decade. Like smart thermostats, heating and air conditioning zone control (also known as a zoned HVAC unit), whole home air purification systems and even smart heating and air conditioning systems that included smart air vents that would adjust themselves. Maybe because these great heat and a/c technology advancements are so darn expensive to where only the well to do and rich can afford them, they are not making any further advancements. If this is the case, just lower the price so the average working person can afford all this great HVAC technology! After all, they eventually did that with central heating and cooling and today that is the standard type of heating and air conditioning that you find in almost every single american household since the mid to late 1990’s.
