My girl and I have been dating for a couple of months now and I have never seen her apartment. It’s not that I worry about what her home would look like because she’s a pretty clean girl and I think her space will be quite clean as well. However, I am concerned why she’s never invited me over before. I worry that she is trying to keep something from me. So when she invited me over the first time and told me she would make me dinner I was extremely excited. I thought it would be fun to see her new location and I couldn’t wait to see what she had cooked up. However, right when I stepped in I knew instantly why I was never invited over. It’s because she likes to keep the place really cold. I don’t like to keep my home cold because I like to save money on my electric bill each month and I could tell that she spends a great deal of money on her electric bill because of how nippy her place was. I walked over to the thermostat to see she had it set to 65°. I asked if she wouldn’t mind turning up the temperature of the thermostat because I was so cold, although she told me she would not be comfortable if it was above 65°. I thought this was totally ridiculous and such a different rule to have about your house. I absolutely hope that the thermostat doesn’t start causing problems with us.
