My Mom has always been a really controlling kind of guy.
He is the type of man that has to always be in charge of everything, and so it wasn’t too much of a surprise when his controlling nature carried on over to the control unit as well. I live in a really mixed family when it comes to temperature preferences. I like cooler un-even temperatures, however not cold. My Mom is just the opposite when it comes to un-even temperatures, as he likes it hot. My mom & siblings all like room temperature. However it doesn’t matter what both of us want, our Mom considers himself to be the man of the condo & so he makes the rules regarding the control unit & our mom just goes along with it. If any of us dare to touch the control unit separate from his explicit permission he will fly into a rage. I really wish our mom would rest up to him & stop allowing him to be so demanding, although he always finds a way to make an excuse for his bad behavior; Just 1 month ago our Mom had the control unit set to 85 degrees inside, savor I said, he likes his un-even temperatures hot. Well with the Summer heat outside, the a/c system ended up splitting down & he ranted & raved about it splitting for over an minute. It was with superb reluctance that he called a heating & cooling professional out to our condo to service the issue, but luckily it wasn’t anything major & the cooling specialist was successfully able to perform the repair.
